As a fashion editor I sometimes feel a bit like Claire’s character in the book The Time Traveler’s Wife (excellent read btw).  This is because I’m constantly being transported to next season’s fashion (winter) and back in reality it’s boiling and the last thing I want to  think about is knitted hats and gloves! But now I find myself already getting excited about next season’s summer trends (FYI utility, floral and everything pretty). All the international magazines I’m busy reading are filled with reports of what’s new but we still have to experience our winter before we can even think of summer and to top it all off the new autumn/winter fashion weeks are happening as we speak! How confusing is that… I guess that’s the world of fashion – the reason why we love it is because it’s constantly changing. P.S. This will only apply to us only in 2011 so I guess this means you’re time travelling too.
