My best dressed at the MTV Awards 2011
For me, Leighton Meester in Balmain wins best dressed at the MTV Awards last night. Just the right amount of dazzle for a music award ceremony. Incredibly similar aesthetic to Jennifer Lopez’s Grammy Awards number I blogged about, don’t you think? Black Lively still manages to look wholesome and All American post her nude phone photo scandal. Emma Watson has her look down pat in Marchesa – she should get a trademark for her style. And Elle Fanning and Hailee Steinfeld… they can do no wrong in my eyes. Cute as buttons.

Hailee Steinfeld… there are no words. The girl is just the most amazing dresser. And of course she must have a stylist but she so clearly makes her own, supercool choices. LOVE. Oh, and one dress I also thought was brilliant was Kristen Stewart’s. I think it was also Balmain, making luxe out of punky safety pins and just right for her. Good colour too. Plus KStew was even smiling, so that’s gotta be one unusually happy-making dress…
