Freaky Footwear

Most girls have some sort of magnetic force that draws them towards shoes. I’m no exception. I like to think of myself as somewhat adventurous when it comes to shoe fashion. However, after taking a look at what the folks at inventorspot.com labeled “Strangest Shoes’, I had to agree. Forget about it just not being practical, some of these designs, although scary to say the least, are just about ridiculous! (Yet, like most art, fun to look at.)

Why yes, I’ve always wondered what it’d feel like to wear a rat’s carcass on my feet. Seriously, if the designer of this particular shoe was going for the shock factor, I’m sure anyone in the path of this creation, will experience just that, followed by slight nausea.

No, just, no. Either than proving your ability to balance on not only super high heels/mini chair legs, but also crazy high insteps, I don’t see any other use for this shoe. It looks to me like an award that could be handed out to shoemakers at some sort of award ceremony.

There’s only one thing I can say about these: Really?

In Disaster Movie there’s a scene where one character’s shoe doubles up as a phone. The idea is funny, silly, lame and considering the surfaces shoes cover, kind of gross. But a Gameboy attached to a shoe… If they weren’t so preposterously unsightly, I’d probably get a pair.
