Chad Le Clos wins GOLD

Two GOLD medals in the bag for SA, not too shabby hey? We really wanted to show you the video of Chad le Clos dominating Michael Phelps in the 200m Butterfly, but unfortunately the Olympic Committee has blocked all Olympic content on Youtube due to copyright issues. Boo! Well done Chad, we are super proud!

Happy Women’s Month!

Not only do we get a day, but an entire month! Women’s Day, which is next week, recalls the day in 1956 when women from all races marched to the Union Buildings in protest against oppressive apartheid laws. In 56 years we have come such a long way. I’m looking forward to a time when we won’t have to celebrate Women’s Day or Women’s Month, a time when there will be no glaring inequalities between men and women.

Charlotte Casiraghi models for Gucci yet again

They used her for their campaigns in the past, and now they want more. Who wouldn’t want this beautiful royal princess to model for them? She is probably the only member of a royal family, willing to pose for covers and ad campaigns. More power to her.

Kate Middleton has been named one of the world’s best dressed, now two years in a row. Getting a spot on Vanity Fair’s best dressed list is of course a very coveted position. Other celebs who made the cut include Elettra WiedemannDiane Kruger,Poppy Delevigne and Léa Seydoux. Any guys? Yes, Prince Harry and Jay-Z also made the cut.

Snoop Dog changes his name

Yes, legendary rapper, Snoop Dog has changed his name to Snoop Lion. His new album is called “Reincarnated”, which obviously speaks to his need for this big change. Do you think it will stick? I really think that most people will just revert back to Dog.
