Today is the great Madonna’s 53rd birthday! This living legend has certainly made use of the 53 years of her life, achieving what only a handful of musicians have. She was recently spotted smooching like a teenager on the beach with the new man in her life, French dancer Brahim Zaibat, who is 24 years old. Many tabloids have labeled him her toyboy and her a cougar. But there is such a double-standard when it comes to dating for your age. We are constantly told who we are supposed to date at certain ages, while most men date younger women. So why should Madge be scrutinized for doing something men have been doing for ages?

I totally agree, women should have a similar approach to dating that men has when it comes to age, they will date a woman of any age, probably the younger the better. We should go for what we want, and if it is a youger man, all the more reason to, just look at what Madonna looks like at her age, she suround herself with young men and she looks great.
